Answers to the questions importers ask us most about buying bulk Egyptian herbs, spices and seeds from Pure Herbs Egypt.
What is your minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
Our minimum order quantity is 2 metric tons per product. Larger volumes can be shipped in full 20ft or 40ft containers.
Can I get a sample before ordering?
Yes. We send samples on request, starting from 450 g per product, so you can check quality, colour, aroma and cut size before placing an order.
What is your lead time?
Production and preparation take about 15 days from order confirmation. Shipments are typically loaded within days of receiving the first agreed payment.
Which payment terms do you accept?
We accept most international payment methods, including bank transfer (T/T), cash against documents (CAD) and letters of credit (L/C). Terms are agreed with each customer per order.
Are you a producer or a trading company?
We are a producer. Pure Herbs Egypt farms around 2,000 feddans in Egypt and works with contracted growers, with two dedicated facilities: one for seeds and one for herbs.
How are your products packed?
Standard packing is 25 kg kraft paper bags with an inner liner. Black seed can also be packed in 50 kg bags or 1,000–1,250 kg jumbo bags. Custom packing is available on request.
How much can be loaded in one container?
It depends on the product and cut. For example, cut hibiscus loads about 8 MT in a 20ft container and 18 MT in a 40ft container, and black seed about 10 MT in a 20ft container. We confirm the exact load with every quotation.
Can you grind products to a specific mesh size?
Yes. We supply whole, cut & sifted, tea-bag cut (TBC) and powder, and we grind to the mesh size you specify.
Do you supply organic products?
Yes. Conventional quality is our standard, and certified organic supply is available for selected products. Please ask for the current organic certificate when requesting a quote.
How do you control quality?
We operate an ISO 9001:2015 quality management system. Every lot is checked for moisture and impurities in our in-house lab, and pest control is carried out by our own trained team.
Which products do you export?
Our main products include chamomile, peppermint, spearmint, hibiscus, lemongrass, basil, marjoram, thyme, sage, rosemary, parsley, moringa, calendula, molokhia, black seed (Nigella sativa), sesame, caraway, fennel, anise, fenugreek, chili and dried lemon.
